The evaluation results of the 2016 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) programs were announced recently. By far the School of Mathematical Sciences at Xiamen University (SMS, XMU) has in total 15 projects funded by NSFC, and the total funding amounted to 8.34 million yuan, which hits the new peak in recent years.
